Hmmm... What happened to those last ten years?
Well, not long after the last blog post about this amp way back in 2014, I was diagnosed with cancer and started some fairly brutal chemo. As far as I'm aware, the CBA is still going strong in Peter's hands. The video from Justin Johnson got taken down because he refused me permission to continue using it unless I sent him an amp free of charge for the privilege. And that wasn't going to happen.
So, in the meantime, no further CBAs got built. But the T'Watt amps found favour on the American market and are still being built to order at time of writing. They've developed quite a bit since the early days. They also had a brand name change to "Hudsonics". There was even a website for a while, but the site just attracted loads of spam messages rather than genuine enquiries. I let the site die and word of mouth enquiries are sufficient to keep the business ticking over.
Also since the original build, I took early retirement in 2021. But instead of building an amplifier business empire, I've focused on musicianship and composition. I even have albums available to buy on Bandcamp!
